Uplogix Appoints Ken Kieley as Chief Financial Officer

Seasoned financial executive brings insight and expertise to leader in secure remote management

Austin, Texas (January 21, 2009) – Uplogix, the leading provider of secure remote management (SRM) solutions, today announced the appointment of Ken Kieley as Chief Financial Officer. With more than 30 years of experience in finance, information systems and operations, Mr. Kieley will take the lead in long-range strategic financial operations and planning for the company. With the current economic conditions forcing enterprise IT organizations to examine budgets world-wide, Uplogix solutions are the first to deliver the ability and confidence to automate the management and recovery of remote sites.

Mr. Kieley has had a broad range of experience  at leading technology companies. Mr. Kieley comes to Uplogix following the acquisition of Wayport, Inc. where he served as Chief Financial Officer overseeing the finance department and implementing improved processes and systems to help the organization continue its growth.  Wayport was acquired by AT&T (NYSE:  T) in late 2008.  Prior to his position at Wayport, Mr. Kieley served as VP of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Netsolve, Inc., which was acquired by Cisco (NASD:  CSCO).  He began his career at Ernst & Young in Dallas, working in accounting, financing, merger & acquisition and consulting engagements.
