Local Management debuts at military conference with Aussie partners
CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA (November 11, 2014) This week, Uplogix makes its first appearance at the MilCIS conference with partner Step Electronics, a business of Hills Limited.
CTO James Dollar is attending and will be demonstrating the Local Management platform.
"We have some long-time customers in the US military, and we ‘ re looking forward to solving similar challenges of remote networking in a new region," said James Dollar, Uplogix founder and CTO. The annual MilCIS conference is a combined effort of the Australian Defence Chief Information Officer Group, the University of New South Wales, Canberra and the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE). It brings together Department of Defence employees, contractors, industry and researchers to discuss both current and future capabilities, project initiatives and operational requirements.
Uplogix customers in the US defense industry include the US Army, the US Navy, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and a number of defense contractors including Lockheed Martin and DRS Defense Solutions.
