In LMS 6.2, support for unencrypted SMS messages was added. This not only allows for the message to be sent from any cell phone or email client, but also means the message can be accessed by the rules engine, allowing the Local Manager to take automated actions that you specify.

Updating AT&T LTE Modem for 3G Deprecation in Knowledge Base

As AT&T continues to decommission 3G cell towers, Uplogix Local Managers with AT&T modems may fail to establish an out-of-band connection. The steps described in this article will correct / prevent a known issue with Cat3 and Cat4 LTE modems using AT&T cellular data that causes the LTE out-of-band connection to fail.
